In Every House.....
Acts 5:42 says, "And daily in the temple, and in every house, thy ceased not to teach and preach the gospel."
That phrase, "and in every house", just jumped right off the pages of my Bible.
It is not just the responsibility of the church to reach people with the gospel.
It is our responsibility as Christian parents to reach our children in our home with the gospel.
It is our responsibility as Christian parents to teach our children how to reach others with the gospel.
It is our responsibility as Christian parents to give our children a tender heart for others through our example of reaching out to and truly caring for others.
Imagine the difference in our world if we seriously focused on our role in the home in reaching others with the gospel.
"In every house" definitely gives me something to focus us on in our home this week.
Protecting and preserving the child like innocence of our children through God's Word.

Just a Thought ....
I love the Lord. I am a wife to a wonderful man who is in law enforcement. I am a homeschooling Mom to 4 wonderful gifts from God! I love to teach, read, and cook. Always looking for a reason to host a party and entertain others. Giving and sharing with others is truly what brings me the most joy!
